30.07.18 Wheatlands would like to tell you about about a new community group called Heston Action Group.  Their mission is to clean and green Heston and rid the area of apathy. HAGs have organised a number of community litter picks in Heston since their formation in March 2018.  We can already see the positive impact they are having in the pedestrian path leading from Wheatlands past St Leonards Church and on to Heston Village.  It is considerably cleaner these past 2 months.  If interested in volunteering you can email them at [email protected]  You can also follow their news and events on their facebook feed at https://www.facebook.com/hestonactiongroup

11.03.15 We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of the late Gloria Reynolds of Westbourne House, Wheatlands, who died recently. Gloria was a great advocate of Wheatlands and will be sadly missed. Gloria and her late husband, Jack, moved into the estate in 1963 and her demise brings an end to our longest serving resident. R.I.P. Gloria. x

4.7.14: A nomination form has been received from Ray Whyms who wishes to be considered for election to the board of Wheatlands Residents Ltd. In support of his nomination Ray says "I have been a resident of Wheatlands for the past 17 years and tried to keep on top of issues such as fly tipping and litter by being proactive in my dealings with Hounslow Highways.  I would be happy to assist in the running of the Wheatlands estate. We need a strong committee to ensure that the estate is seen as a place to be proud of and where people want to live.  This means taking steps to address issues when they arise in an effective manner".
